My design philosophy

01

Be a polyglot

I've learnt that great design doesn’t end at the handoff — it lives or dies in translation. Whether I’m working with engineers or PMs, I make it my job to speak their language.
02

Be humble

It’s easy to fall in love with your own thinking. But the truth is, every time I’ve let go of what I thought I knew, I’ve made something better. Humility keeps me curious.
03

Be impact-oriented

As a creative, it’s really easy to find yourself wedded to your ideas, not outcomes. This can lead to a design process centred around validating ideas, not optimising the user experience.
04

Be romantic

As with most relationships, it’s the little things. Understanding your users more intimately using data creates opportunities for small touches that have big impacts.
